About AISO

AISO has been a trusted name in environmentally friendly web hosting since 1997. Plus AISO was featured in Inc. Magazines' Top 50 Green Companies and was the first public data center member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Our staff members continually strive to provide you with a level of service that is unmatched in the web hosting industry. We treat every client like they are our only client. AISO owns and operates its own data center and network that is powered by solar panels, not energy credits.
 

Clients

We host websites from the United Kingdom, Sweden, Canada, France, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, East Africa, United States and other countries. AISO's impressive growth in the past has been largely due to strong word of mouth referrals.  Clients range from individual personal websites to small businesses to large corporate clients.

Data Center
Our data center is environmentally friendly in design. It is completely steel framed with no wood at all except for the door frames on the interior of the building. Our walls are over 12 inches thick and filled with insulation that has recycled content. We built our data center, network and servers from the start to use the lowest amount of energy possible using the latest green design techniques, no other hosting company can do what we do without starting from scratch. In addition to windows, we use solar tubes to bring in natural sunlight which eliminates the use for conventional lighting during the day. Our cooling systems are water cooled which reduces the amount of electricity because of the unique setup.

We are in the process of designing a green roof for our data center. The green roof is a layer of dirt 3 to 4 inches thick with drought resistant plants. The new green roof will reduce our cooling & heating requirements by over 50%. Click here for more information on our green data center.

Network Monitoring

We run redundant monitoring servers that monitor each piece of equipment on our network. Our monitoring is so advanced it will notify our NOC (network operating center) if there is any issues with our switches, routers, servers, bandwidth, etc. so we can proactively handle potential problems. This type of proactive monitoring ensures our clients the most possible uptime available.
 

Financial Stability

Since 1997, AISO has been a stable, profitable, debt-free, corporation. We do not lease any equipment which allows us to be financially stable and profitable. We are growing an average of twenty percent per year and expect this trend to increase over the next few years.
